prayer cornerAs we journey with Jesus through the Gospels, He slowly reveals to us that God is a Trinity of three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Why is that important? Because it shows us what love looks like. The Father loves the Son and the Son loves the Father and the love between them is so strong, it is a Person – the Holy Spirit. This is a model for the love we have for each other in our families. From the time of the Apostles, this has been at the core of all our beliefs. When we learn the Apostles’ Creed prayer, we remember who we are as Catholics. Using this VIDEO, let’s pray along and think about each of the beliefs revealed to us in this prayer.
Can you pray the words of the Apostles’ Creed by heart? Children in grades 5-8: Take this QUIZ and see how well you do.

Virtue of the month: faithIf we take note of the miracles in our life, it will be most natural to give thanks to the God who so generously provides them.
“Every happening, great and small, is a parable whereby God speaks to us, and the art of life is to get the message.” Malcolm Muggeridge |
